TDH Dental: 20 Years of Trusted Smiles and Thailand’s Invisalign Leader

Over the past 20 years, TDH Dental (Thonglor Dental Hospital) has grown from a premium dental clinic in Thonglor into Thailand’s leading Invisalign clear aligner provider, trusted by more than 50,000 cases. Today the brand is entering a new chapter with a 3-year roadmap to expand its branches, raise its standards to a regional level, and prepare for listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Thailand’s dental market is worth roughly 200-300 billion baht and continues to grow 13-15% per year, making dentistry one of the strongest segments of the Medical & Wellness industry. A key driver is the change in consumer behavior, from “dental care for function” to a desire for lasting aesthetic results alongside good long-term quality of life.

From Pioneer to an Internationally Recognized Invisalign Leader

Dr.Raungyos Onsaard, Chief Executive Officer of Thonglor Dental Hospital Co., Ltd., shared TDH Dental’s vision under the theme “20 Years of Trusted Smiles.” The brand has grown from a pioneer of premium dental clinics into a leader in Invisalign clear aligners, recognized by more than 50,000 cases.

This confidence is reflected in international standards and awards, including ISO 9001:2015, the Red Diamond Provider 2024 and Blue Diamond Provider 2025 awards from Align Technology at the 2026 Align Southeast Asia Forum in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

3-Year Roadmap: Revenue Reaching 500 Million Baht, Preparing to Go Public

TDH Dental’s success comes from maintaining its position of service excellence, combined with AI and digital systems to assess and monitor treatment results in real time. It is also reaching younger generations (Gen Z) and men who increasingly care about their smiles and personal image, through personalized marketing.

Under the 3-year plan, TDH Dental has set the following key goals:

  • Open an average of 3-4 new branches per year nationwide, in high-potential locations and premium shopping malls such as Central Dusit Park, Thonglor, Punnawithi, Ratchaphruek and ICONSIAM
  • Expand its network of dental centers to major provincial cities and tourist destinations, to serve both Thai and international patients (Dental Tourism)
  • Establish a transparent management structure in line with ESG principles, in preparation for listing and raising capital on the Stock Exchange of Thailand within 3 years

The company targets 2026 revenue of over 450 million baht, or nearly 500 million baht, up from 321.9 million baht in 2025, with a customer mix of 70% Thai and 30% international patients.

Inside the Business Model: Premium & Specialized Dental Clinic

Ms. Wipawadee Onsa-ard, Managing Director, said TDH Dental’s business model focuses on delivering confident smiles and good oral health through specialist dentists and world-class technology in a premium service environment. The heart of sustainable growth is treatment that is precise, fast and as comfortable as possible, powered by four technology pillars:

  • Fully Digital Dentistry — transforming traditional dentistry into a fully digital system
  • iTero Element 5D intraoral scanner — highly accurate scanning of the mouth
  • Aesthetic Norms — designing smiles by calculating the balance of each person’s facial proportions
  • CBCT (3D CT Scan) — accurately analyzing the teeth, jawbone and facial proportions

This quality leads to the power of word-of-mouth, which accounts for as much as 50-60% of brand awareness. In addition, Dr. Pakporn Pattarapornnan, a former Invisalign Thailand executive, has joined the team as Chief Operating Officer (COO), helping drive the business expansion forward at full speed.

A Brand Customers Love, Return To and Recommend

TDH Dental uses an Experience-led Marketing strategy, building experiences and long-term relationships at every touchpoint, from the welcome and premium lounge to in-depth content that links oral health to “holistic health and anti-aging” (Longevity). The aim is to elevate the brand from an ordinary orthodontic clinic to a premium specialist in facial structure and smiles.

The customer care system covers preventive programs, scaling, oral spa, personalized 6-month dental check-up reminders, and benefits for existing customers who refer family and friends, as well as partnerships with beauty institutes, 5-star hotels and premium fashion brands.

“Customers will feel a difference that goes beyond dental treatment: a luxury experience, from booking through a digital system and consultations via Tele-dentistry to a patient record system connected across every branch.”

‘Ramintra’: A Prototype for the Modern Dental Clinic

The TDH Dental Ramintra branch was developed as a prototype for the modern dental clinic, in an area of eastern Bangkok with strong purchasing power. Its highlight is bringing 5-star service from the Thonglor flagship branch to the area, together with an accurate appointment system, personalized hospitality, and a “center of specialists” so patients do not have to travel into inner Bangkok for complex treatment.

The branch has been equipped with a 3D scanner, digital X-ray machines and a fully computerized treatment planning system since opening, along with a spa-like atmosphere and aromatherapy to reduce stress and make dental visits relaxing.

The Longevity Beauty & Wellness Megatrend

Today’s consumers are shifting from “treatment” to services that meet their needs for “beauty and holistic well-being,” known as the Longevity Beauty & Wellness trend. Consumers no longer see dental care merely as treating disease but as part of enhancing personality and social acceptance, a key factor that will help Thailand’s Dental Tourism expand over the next 2-3 years.

“Consumers no longer visit the dentist only when they are in pain. They come to boost confidence and enhance their personality, for example with veneers, dental implants, and clear aligners that adjust facial structure using the Aesthetic Norms technique.”

In the future, consumers will increasingly expect personalized treatment planning, want to see results in advance through AI simulations before starting treatment, and want procedures that finish faster, such as same-day dental implants or clear aligners that reduce the number of clinic visits while remaining highly effective.

Nurturing Talent and Building a Strong Team to Support Growth

Dr. Pakporn Pattarapornnan, Chief Operating Officer, said the plan to develop dentists and staff emphasizes in-house training programs, collaboration with world-class dental technology companies, and a referral system between specialist dentists, for example orthodontists working together with veneer specialists and gum disease specialists for holistic treatment.

Alongside this, the support team, including front desk staff, dental assistants and coordinators, is being developed to have advanced communication skills, with clear career paths and a compensation system that reflects treatment quality and patient satisfaction.

TDH Dental currently operates 12 branches in Thailand and Laos, such as Ratchaphruek and Ramintra, and will soon open the Bangkok Kreetha branch. Every branch maintains the same standards through a Cloud-based Clinic Management system and a shift from one-off treatment to lifelong smile care.
